Happily reached the Atlantic yesterday evening - Happy as never before.
I started yesterdays trip in “Saint Florent Le Vieil”, the ride here was with 110 km quite long for me and up to Nantes all was good. Cycling from Nantes to “Le Pellerin” however was very unpleasant. Forever and ever just main road, nasty side wind producing trucks, Industry, bad smells – Uggh!
In "Le Pellerin" I took a ferry to cross the Loire and after that the cycling track was mainly on dedicated tracks again and mostly beautiful landscape.
I booked myself into an Air B&B for 2 nights in “Saint Brevin Les Pins” Not that I could really do with a break to relax my muscles and joints and all the bits and pieces I had forgotten exist – NO – to do some serious cloth washing is the real reason!
I also washed my bike – could not resist to take the dust and dirt off it collected during 1569 km that I cycled up to today. “Touch wood” the bike is doing really well – no troubles.
Later I want to write about the “Torture of Tours” and the impact of Nizza, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin…
Not now – Now I will hang up the last load of washing and then head to the beach to walk barefoot through the sand, let the wind mess up my hair and feel the salt on my skin - pure joy.
Hope you are all well too – Rebecca

Happy to read that everything is going well! Get some rest and continue to enjoy 😎
